But following a move to Spain, a sequence of astonishing events changed her life dramatically, turning her scepticism on its head, especially regarding the question of what happens to us when we die. Starkey is now convinced that there is a life after death; this book reveals her personal experiences and shares the verifiable evidence of her discoveries.
Meet the author – Susan Starkey
Sadly, at 37 her first husband died so she decided to return to the UK. She joined an investment bank in the City of London and made a new start. She was considered a tough negotiator, pragmatic and highly organised and at that time she thought I was totally in control of my life and my destiny.
Then two things happened.
Firstly, she met and married her second husband, who is here today and has witnessed first-hand all that she writes about in this book.
Secondly, the tragedy in New York involving the Twin Towers happened, which made her question what her life was all about. She asked herself why she was working such long hours and for what? So, Suzy and her husband decided to completely change their lives and move to Spain.
